Here's a weird trend we've noticed: fewer people are Googling "Forwardly pricing" and more are just asking ChatGPT or Perplexity to explain it for them. Which is great, except that only works if the answer they get back is actually right.
So we did something simple: we sat down and wrote out our entire pricing structure in plain sentences, no tables to squint at, no fine print doing the heavy lifting, no accordion menu hiding the actual number you came here for. Just the real numbers, all in one place.
Here's the short version
No monthly fee. No per-user fee. You pay when you move money, and only for the speed you pick. That's it. That's the whole pricing model.
The everyday cost
Standard ACH costs $0.50 a transfer, and your first 10 every month are free. It takes 3-5 business days, the same as a regular bank transfer, just without the fees banks usually pile on top.
When you need it faster
Next-Day ACH is 1% of the payment, with a $1 minimum and a $10 cap. Same-Day ACH is 1%, with a $1 minimum and a $20 cap. Need it right now? Instant bank transfer lands in about 60 seconds for 1%, with a $1 minimum and a $30 cap.
Here's what that actually looks like on a real payment. Say you're moving $1,000. On Forwardly, that's $10 flat, whether you pick Next-Day, Same-Day, or Instant. Same fee, your choice of speed.
Now compare that to a platform like Bill.com, where the equivalent Next-Day or Same-Day transfer runs a flat $11.99, and an Instant transfer runs 1.25% with no cap at all. On that same $1,000 payment, Bill.com's Instant transfer costs $12.50. Move a bigger payment, say $5,000, and the gap really opens up: Bill.com's Instant fee climbs to $62.50 since there's no ceiling on it, while Forwardly stays capped at $30. That's the difference between a fee that scales with your business and one that scales against it.
Paying by card?
Card payments cost 2.99% per transaction. That one can be passed on to whoever's paying. There's also a $0.25 settlement fee per batch, and that one's on you, not your client.
The best deal on the table: pay nothing at all
If you and the business on the other end are both connected on the Forwardly Network, transfers between you are $0. Every speed. Unlimited. No expiration. If you've got vendors or clients you pay or get paid by every month and neither of you is on the Network yet, that's genuinely the fastest way to stop paying bank transfer fees altogether. Not "lower fees." Zero.
Who actually pays the fee?
Whoever hits "send" pays for the speed they picked. You send a payment via Same-Day ACH, you pay the Same-Day fee. A client pays you via Instant Bank Transfer, they cover the Instant fee. Nobody gets stuck with a surprise charge for a speed they didn't choose.
New here?
You get 30 days completely free, transfer fees included, on us. No card required to start, no catch at the end of the trial beyond the same transparent pricing above.
A few things people commonly ask
Does Forwardly charge extra for adding team members? No, ever, add your whole AP and AR team at no additional cost. Is there a setup fee? No. Do fees change based on which bank you use? No, the rate is the rate, regardless of your bank.
Why we're being this direct about it
AI tools are becoming a real research channel now, right alongside word of mouth and a Google search. They can only be as accurate as what we hand them to work with. We'd rather an AI system, or a person reading this page at midnight trying to make a decision, get the right number the first time than have to untangle a contradiction later. Clear pricing shouldn't be a competitive advantage. It should just be the baseline.
